Knit flat on one long circular needle.

Tension

23 sts and 34 rows to 10cm over pattern using 5.00mm needles. Correct tension is not essential for this throw.

Suitable Yarns

This pattern is written for Spring Cotton 8 ply. This is knitted on larger needles than normally recommended for this yarn, so if you want to retain the blanket shape, it will not be suitable for all 8 ply yarns, especially Cotton. This is because it may stretch and lose its shape over time when knitted in other yarns on that needle size.

Accessories

A long 5.00mm circular knitting needle, or size needle to give correct tension. The blanket is worked flat, the circular needle is to accommodate the large number of stitches.
