PT 8222 - Cotton Shrug - Knitting Pattern

A versatile knitted wardrobe piece, this stylish shrug is ideal for layering over singlets or dresses.

Construction

Knit in four pieces from the bottom up, with 4x4 rib band on edge knitted last.

Tension

22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm over stocking stitch using 4.00mm needles.

Suitable yarns

This pattern uses 8 ply cotton yarn. Any of our 8 ply yarns could be used with this pattern but may give a different result, so be sure to work a tension square first.

Accessories

3.25mm and 3.75mm needles, 3.75mm circular knitting needles (80 – 100cm long) for bands (knit flat), 1 stitch holder.

Techniques you'll be employing
