The Story

Designed by Megan Carey of Tigs Togs

"I designed a set of three vegetable produce bags to take to farmers' markets or supermarkets. A 200 g ball means you can make two small , two medium and two large bags to hold your fruit and vegetables. This is a great way to avoid putting fruit and vegetables in plastic bags. They make ideal gifts when paired with a crocheted market bag. I've used UK crochet terms. Bendigo Woollen Mills 8 ply washes well so it's great for using in these bags."

Requirements:

  • 1 x 200 g ball of Bendigo Woollen Mills Cotton 8 ply
  • This is enough yarn to make two sets of three bags in various sizes
  • 4.50 mm crochet hook
  • Yarn needle for ending off threads
